The role of the Religious Education Program is to assist the children of the parish in developing an awareness of the presence of God, self, others and the world. The children are brought to an understanding of the meaning and role of prayer, Sacraments and liturgical celebrations, and to an appreciation of the basic concepts of the Catholic faith. Many volunteers are needed to work in this capacity on seven grade levels, as well as working one-on-one with children having special needs.
