RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Children in Grades 1 through 8

In order for a child to be placed in a class every child must be registered or re-registered each year.

Classes for the 2012-13 year for children in Grades 1-5 will begin either Tuesday, Sept. 18th or Wednesday, Sept. 19th (depending on your childs assignment), Confirmation Level I (6th Grade) on Sept. 19th and Confirmation Level II (7th Grade) on Sept. 26th.

Children transferring from another Religious Education Program: please bring a Letter of Transfer with a copy of child's Baptismal Certificate and complete the Registration Form found on this page.

All families must register in the Parish prior to enrolling in St. Christopher Religious Education Program. This can be done at the Religious Education Office.

HOURS OF REGISTRATION
MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY
10:00am - 12:00 noon and 1:00 - 3:00 pm
HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED THE CATECHETICAL MINISTRY?
If you have a willingness to share your faith with children, the ability to interact with . children in a respectful, nurturing, and age-appropriate way, then we ask that you be open to this opportunity to respond to God's calling to this ministry and to give it serious thought and prayer. Catechists are needed on all Grade Levels.

We will provide in-service training, support, encouragement, a written curriculum and all materials necessary for lesson preparation. We are currently in need of the following positions:

SUBSTITUTE CATECHISTS,
HALL MONITORS,
CLASSROOM AIDS AND DOOR SECURITY

PERSONS ARE NEEDED.
